Well, the countdown has begun. The boys are so excited - not just about receiving presents, not just the fact that they will be staying home for three weeks, but also because it will be Jesus's birthday. Especially Jon, he is so excited that he gets to help Jesus celebrate his birthday. I have the manger set up on my side glass table - it was a set that I made many years ago. I always wanted a set that the baby Jesus was a separate piece so that I could create a special family tradition on Christmas eve. The boys have loved this tradition so far in that they help put the baby in the manger and we say a special family prayer.
Anyways, I bought an advent countdown at Crackerbarrel today... I know it's late but the boys are still enjoying the daily chocolate. I had totally forgotten about this until I saw it today.
Chad and I took the day off today so that we could get some shopping done. We actually picked up most of our Christmas presents. Hope the holidays are being nice to everyone else. I'll keep the countdown going... till then... HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I can't believe Christmas is next week. This year is running away so fast.
Time is going so fast that my head is spinning. I saw on Chad's blog that you got some new shoes. I had really bad shin splints when I started. I hope your new shoes help!
