Jonathon & Matthew are FIVE YEARS OLD!

Can you believe it? Wow! In just a short amount of time, we have grown so much. Our birthday was actually on September 2nd, but we have been so busy to post. Gramma and Papa, Uncle Brian and Bridget came over Labor Day weekend to help us celebrate. We took them to the splash park and the zoo. Last weekend, we went up to Uncle Scott and Melissa's house for dinner. Then yesterday we had our birthday party with friends. There were sixteen additional kids at our house. We had a blast. It was a ball theme and we had games that we played. We even went into the backyard for a ball hunt, then we threw them at each other.

We are becoming so independent. Every morning, we dress ourselves and even pick out our own clothes. Then we brush our teeth and make our beds. We have even mastered the idea of taking a shower, but still working on rinsing the soap out of our own hair. We are learning the difference between left and right and can even count up to twenty, sometimes more but we usually skip numbers after that.

We are learning the rules of games and love to play outside. Our favorite sports are soccer, basketball, hockey, tag, and even duck-duck-goose.

Our vocabulary has grown immensely. Most of the time we are very polite and well behaved. We like to yell at each other and others when someone else does something wrong, even mom or dad.

Look at the number of kids...

Next years Kindergarten class!
