2) Matt tripped Jon, which wasn't a big deal. However, Jon landed teeth first into the glass coffee table. Both front teeth were bleeding and the one was pushed back from the other one. I took him to the dentist the next morning and we took x-rays. It moved somewhat back into place on its own so the dentist wanted to wait. Well, a week later the tooth was turning grey - he wouldn't use it to eat with or even to talk with. So I took him back to the dentist and we took x-rays again. What happened was the ligament that attachs the tooth to the bone broke and his tooth was moving up in the gum causing all this discomfort (it was pretty evident on the x-ray since there was a shadow around the tooth). So they decided to pull the tooth. We are watching the other one to see if it will have to be pulled but it looks to be fine now that the one is gone.
3) We attended the Safety Days at the Swapmeet again this year. The boys love to see all the firetrucks and ambulances and garbage trucks and police cars and police motorcycles, etc.
4) Last but definitely not least - we signed the boys up for soccer. They just love having their own jersey with their own number.
Here is a recap of how the games have gone so far:
#1 Lost 2-1 (Matt scored)
#2 Won (Jon scored)
#3 Game cancelled due to rain
#4 Won 7-0 (Jon scored twice and Matt scored twice)
#5 Won 2-1 (Matt scored)

Soccer - how fun! I know our days will get even busier in a few years as we shuttle between sports, ballet, scouts, etc...I think we'll have to put a limit to how many activities each kid can do!
Thanks for your kind words today. Still not feeling so good today, but not as frustrated as last night. I Just. Can't. Wait. for. Summer! (I know you can relate!)
What a month, huh?! Love all the pics of the boys!
life is full, of so much, isn't it?
i love watching little ones play soccer, it is just too cute!
I just love those photos of the boys playing soccer and Chris at his birthday.
Poor Jonathan! All of your kids are adorable. I can't wait until my Matthew and Jonathan are old enough for sports. My older kids want nothing to do with team sports, but the twins are already angry that the "big" boys won't let them join their basketball games in the cul de sac.
