HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow bloggers. My family and I will be spending a quiet day here at home. We already did the big turkey dinner on Sunday when my husband's brother and kids and girlfriends and boyfriends could come over. They left on Monday for California so we had to do it early. Which is perfectly fine with me since we can now enjoy a nice long weekend as a family.
I am thankful for my husband and my three beautiful little boys. I'm thankful for Chad being such a wonderful father. I'm thankful for the Lord helping me become a wonderful mother. I'm thankful for the gorgeous house that God has provided for us. I'm thankful for both my husband and I having recession-free jobs (me a teacher and him in accounting). I'm thankful for having such a wonderful mother who raised me to be the person I am today. I'm thankful for a mother whom is now my best friend. I'm thankful for having such wonderful friends (Eric and Lori) whom are always there when we need them, and vice versa. I'm thankful for being healthy and starting to make the right choices to be good looking again.

I'm thankful for having common sense - when it seems most of today's children don't. I'm thankful for having God in my life and walking every step with me. I'm thankful for living in a neighborhood where the neighbors care about each other and their property. I'm thankful for having three boys who, for the most part, are very well behaved. I'm thankful for having three great teachers as part of my team who value each other's opinion. I'm thankful for having a husband and family who love me for who I am.

I have already been pulling more Christmas decorations out of the garage this morning - since it is only twenty eight days away. I'm only pulling in a little at a time so that I don't feel overwhelmed and I can place things as I do it. I never liked how we did it in the past and pull all the bins and everything in the house first, then decorated. Always felt like a disaster area until we were done.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend and is thankful for everything they have.

You are thankful for your wonderful husband, is that me you are referring to? You could not be referring to Chad.... ;)
